I thought NY’ers migrated to Florida…another Ex-Dolphin to NY…

This morning I woke up to the news that the Jets acquired Brandon Marshall from the Chicago Bears, pending a physical, which I believe he will pass. First thought another Dolphin coming to NY. Once I let that go I must say Marshall, although injury follows him sometimes too close then I would rather admit, I think will be a good addition as long as his ankle stays strong and he doesn’t take any hard hits to the ribs. Now all we need is a pocket passer, someone who can consistently throw the ball to this high-volume receiver. Over the past 7 years he was the leagues highest target with 1,241 attempts. He has always been part of a pass-oriented offense so can Geno Smith shape up and get it together or will the Jets try and get Marcus Mariota or maybe another veteran QB? I do like the mobility nowadays with these young quarterbacks, but at the end of the day we have some good receivers and need to see some touchdown passes. Last seasons we only had 16 passing touchdowns, and we had 15 interceptions it’s time for those stats to change. I do think Brandon Marshall will be a key ingredient to making this happen, add Decker to the equation, who they missed each other by a year in Denver, and we got some solid options. I think this is a stronger move then going after Amari Cooper in the draft, which I thought was going to be one of the Jets picks. Let me know what you guys think…
